Hector A. Torres

MCALLEN - Hector A. Torres, 89, entered eternal rest on Monday, March 18, 2024, in McAllen. Mr. Torres was preceded in death by his parents, Eusebio and Maria De Jesusa Torres; two siblings, Alejandro Torres and Eduardo Torres.

Hector was a proud Patriot, having served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed watching movies, especially comedies and Christmas themed movies. Mr. Torres was a traveler, loved to barbecue, listen to music, watching his Dallas Cowboys play along with the Texas Longhorns, but most importantly spending time with his family. Hector was very artistic loved drawing and making crafts.
Mr. Torres retired from the US Postal service after 35 years of faithful service.

Mr. Torres is survived by his wife, Consuelo R. Torres; his three children, Hector J. Torres, Lesslie Eanes, and Daniel Torres; three grandchildren, Nathan Torres, Ethan Eanes, and Daniel A. Torres; two siblings, Eusebio "John" Torres, and Noe Torres; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen with full military honors. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
