Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus Felix Gonzalez and Maria Guadalupe Garcia; 1 daughter, Guadalupe Gonzalez; 4 siblings, Gloria Gonzalez, Ernesto Gonzalez, Andres Gonzalez and Alberto Gonzalez.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife, Ma Guadalupe Gonzalez Esparza; 16 children, Lupita Gonzalez, Jeronimo Gonzalez Jr., Juanita Gonzalez, Felix Gonzalez Hernandez, Ma Isabel De La Torre, Norma Franco, Juan Franco, Christina Franco, Cynthia F. Garcia, Joe Franco, Joel Esparza, Adriana Gonzalez, Manuel Hernandez Jr., Ma Isabel Medina and Alberto Gonzalez; 30 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 2 siblings, Ramona Trujillo and Carmelo Trujillo; numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Thursday, January 2, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2024, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow to Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
