EVELIA FERNANDEZ JASSO

EDINBURG- Evelia Fernandez Jasso, 91, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 in McAllen surrounded by her family. Mrs. Jasso was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Reyes Jasso; parents, Catarino and Sofia Fernandez.

Mrs. Jasso is survived by her three children, Javier Reyes (Cristina) Jasso, Celine Imelda (Joe) Gomez Jr., and Norma Linda (Albert) Trejo; eight grandchildren, Jerardo Reyes Jasso, Joaquin Reyes Jasso,Joel Reyes Jasso, Melissa (Calvin) Nelson, Adam Gomez, Anthony(Crystal) Gomez, Albert Trejo II, Danielle Nicole Trejo; four great-grandchildren, Camila Ann Nelson, Isaac Miles Nelson, Chace Anthony Gomez and Raegan Jo Gomez; numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. celebration of life, Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral Mass will be at 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Inurment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
