Espiridion "Espirio" Gutierrez

SAN JUAN - Espiridion "Espirio" Gutierrez, 87, entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 7, 2024, in Pharr. Mr. Gutierrez was preceded in death by his son, Gilberto Gutierrez; his parents, Primitivo and Josefa Gutierrez; his brother, Gilberto Gutierrez.

Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his eight children, Arturo Aguirre, Mereyda (Miguel Morilla) McDonald, Espiridion (Jessica) Gutierrez Jr., Marysol (Eli Coy) Gutierrez, Olivia Gutierrez, San Juanita Reyes, Primitivo Gutierrez, and Graciela Gutierrez; 14 grandchildren;  four siblings, Maria L. Lopez, Amanda Martinez, Enedelia Castillo, and Antonio Martinez; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 14, 2024, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
