Erma Farris

Edinburg - Erma Farris , 83, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 19, 2025. Mrs. Farris is preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Ray Gene Farris; parents, Wiley Land and Edna Sims; three children, Terry Lynn Farris, Lowel Eugene Farris, and John Paul Farris; one sibling, Naomi Land.

Mrs. Farris is survived by her two children, Stephen Michael Farris, and Samuel Duwayne (Roxanne Enid) Farris; two grandchildren, Jaclyn Sadie Farris and Ezra Alexander Farris, numerous family and friends.

Erma Farris loved the Lord and had a passion for music and the ministry. She traveled extensively with her family as evangelists. Singing and ministering wherever they went. She is remembered for her kindness, her joyful spirit in worship, and in her unwavering hope in the Lord's goodness.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
