ELIGIO HERNANDEZ SAN JUAN - Eligio Hernandez, 69, went to be with our Lord Monday July 13, 2020, in McAllen. Mr. Hernandez was preceded in death by his parents, Perfecto and Lorenza Hernandez. Mr. Hernandez is survived by his wife, Maria Isabel Hernandez; five children,Eligio (Mayra) Hernandez Jr., Carlos Alberto (Karen) Hernandez, Ester Hernandez, Sonia Elizabeth Hernandez, and Victor Hernandez; six grandchildren, Mayeli, Yanxiel, Carlos Alberto, Jayden Jay, Marilu, and Luis Alonso; ten siblings, Gerardo Hernandez, Natividad Hernandez, Maria Rivera, Erculano Hernandez, Jose Hernandez, Gregorio Hernandez, Margarita Hernandez, Miguel Hernandez, Jesus Hernandez, and Antonia Hernandez; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with a 3 p.m. Chapel service Friday July 17, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
