EFRAIN SOTO-TORRES EDINBURG - Efrain Soto-Torres, 66, entered eternal rest on Friday, April 23, 2021, in Edinburg. Efrain was preceded in death by his daughter, Claudia Gonzalez; his parents, Porfirio Soto and María Luisa Torres; his brother, Javier Soto. Mr. Soto-Torres is survived by his wife, Maria Del Rosario Barrera; three children, Efrain Soto Jr., Maria R. Soto de Castillo, and Jasmine Soto-Barrera; eight grandchildren, Giselle, Darian, Jade, Annasophia, Destinie, Jesus, Vanessa, and Estefani. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
