Efrain Gongora Avalos

Edcouch- Efrain Gongora, 60, entered eternal rest on Monday, December 9, 2024. Mr. Gongora is preceded in death by his parents, Eduardo Gongora, and Amparo Avalos.

Mr. Gongora is survived by his wife, Alma Delia Gongora; four children, Ashley Gongora ( Leobardo Acuña), Efrain Alejandro Gongora, Victoria Gongora (John Perez), and Jesus De Leon ( Julia De La Rosa); five grandchildren, Sophia Gongora, Aime Perez, Gael Acuña, Emely De Leon, and Santos De Leon; six siblings, Fernando Gongora, Jorge Gongora, Martin Gongora, Ignacio Gongora, Margarita Gongora, and Graciela Cisneros; numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Monday, December 16, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg in Edinburg. 

 Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
