EDWIN ORLANDO ORTIZ

EDINBURG - Edwin Orlando Ortiz, 69, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, in Edinburg. Mr. Ortiz was preceded in death by his parents, Jorge Alberto and Maria Consuelo Ortiz.

Mr. Ortiz is survived by his wife, Hilda G. Ortiz; his children, Wenndy (Phillip) Pray, Daisy (Roman) Gonzalez, Leslie Ortiz, and Emanuel Ortiz; seven grandchildren, Edwin, Efrain, Cael, Leah, Miranda, Emma, and Mia; three siblings, Jorge Ortiz, Rosibel Reyes, and Miriam Gutierrez; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2022, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
