Dora Tagle Salinas

MCALLEN - Dora Tagle Salinas, 72, went to be with our Lord on Friday, September 27, 2024, in Harlingen. Dora was preceded in death by her daughter, Gina Marie Fuentes; her parents, Samuel Tagle Sr. and Jovita Martinez; six siblings, Samuel Tagle Jr., Maria de Jesus Garza Tagle, Ernesto Tagle, Francisco P. Tagle, Gonzalo Tagle, and Oscar Tagle.

Dora was always dedicated to her family, friends, and her coworkers. She always wanted to lift up those around her, she dedicated her life to being the mother that everyone needed, even to her own parents. As she watches over her family from heaven above, her love will spread to her children and grandchildren. Dora's family is grateful for the support during this time of mourning of a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and friend. To all who touched her through this journey, she sends thanks and love. May she rest in eternal peace. 

Dora is survive by her two sons, George (Margo) Castro Jr., Gerald Castro; ten grandchildren, Cassandra, Michael, Abigail, Joaquin, Rebecca, Isaiah, Julian, Jeovanni, Malachi, and Lillian; five siblings, Margarita T. Arranda, Guadalupe T. Villareal, Carmen Tagle, Esther Tagle, and Leticia Tagle; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, October 4, 2024, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
