DONALD H. BROWN MISSION - Donald H. Brown, age 88, of Mission, TX and formerly Muskegon, MI went to be with his Lord on Monday, June 15, 2020, at home. Don was born May 27, 1932 in Walkerville, MI to Henry and Caroline (Vasicek) Brown. Don fought for his country from 1952 to 1954 during the Korean War. Upon his return he married Delores P. Hunt, and they went on to have five children together. Don worked on the family farm in Oceana County and at Westran in Muskegon for 33 years. Later in life, Don’s health was a challenge so he and Delores moved to Texas for warmer weather and where there was more family close by to help with his medical needs. Don loved his family and laughed until he cried at comical stories he would share with the Grandkids and Great-grand Kids. He would give each one a nickname and would welcome them by that name each time they arrived to visit with him. He especially loved it when a group of family would visit and all would go out to dinner together. He would just sit there and smile proudly at the family that he and Delores had created. Don is survived by his wife of 64 years, Delores P. (Hunt) Brown, his children; Cherryl Anne (Wesley George), Gerber Tracy Ann (Jestin Daniel), Thomas and Ainsley Ann, Bruce Wesley, Jory Zachariah, and Elaina Grace Thomas, Jamie Lynn (Nathanial Andrew), Tatarek and Madison Jean Tatarek, Vicki Jane Delgado, Sara Elizabeth McCormick, and Brandon Alexander and Peyton Elizabeth McCormick Teresa Marie (Joel Evan) Leichtnam and Caroline Jane Leichtnam Armando Delgado, Jr Nicholas Christopher (Nancy Dalia) Delgado Pauline Marie (Daniel, deceased) Babinec Valarie Lee (Gary Patrick) Gustafson and Natalie Lee Payne Jonathan Robert (Jennifer Ann) Wiedman Karla Jean Brown (Russell R Beekman) Ashlea Amber (Huck Charles) Payne and Jaxon John and Lauryn Grace Payne Kasey Jo Carr (Justin James Morgan) and William Timothy and Alyssa Marie Carr and Bentley James and Hailey Alexis Morgan Kailin Brittnee Carr and Arryella Jazaleen and Jamariyn Orlando Carr Charles (Kimberly) Brown Sister Darlene Grover of Manton, MI, sister-in-law Donna (Doug) Vigna and brothers-in-law Donald (LaVeda) Hunt of Hesperia, MI, Larry (Norma) Hunt of Cape Coral, FL, and Jerry (Betty) Hunt of Bitely, MI and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Darrell and Richard, and sister Marva Nystrom, brothers-in-law Clifford, Leslie, Walter, Duane, Norman, Freeman Jr Hunt, and sisters-in-law Mary Brandt, Mildred Winchel, Nellie West, Rosalie Maynard, and Thelma Fletcher.
