Delores Pauline (Hunt) Brown

Mission – Delores Pauline (Hunt) Brown, age 84, of Mission, Texas and formerly of Muskegon, Michigan went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 14, 2023. Delores was born September 14, 1938, in Fremont, Michigan to Freeman and Jessie Hunt. She lived most of her life in Walkerville and Muskegon, Michigan. Delores married Donald Henry Brown in 1956. Delores was preceded in death by her husband Donald Brown; her parents, Freeman and Jessie Hunt; brothers, Clifford, Leslie, Walter, Duane, Norman, Freeman Jr, and Jerry Hunt; sisters, Mary Brandt, Mildred Winchel, Nellie West, Rosalie Maynard, and Thelma Fletcher.

Delores is survived by her children, Cherryl (Wesley) Gerber of Apple Valley, Minnesota, Vicki Delgado of Mission, Texas, Pauline (Daniel, deceased) Babinec of Pentwater, Michigan, Karla Brown (Russell Beekman) of Pensacola, Florida, and Charles (Kimberly) Brown of Kalamazoo, Michigan; 11 grandchildren,and 20 great-grandchildren; her sister, Donna (Doug) Vigna of Hesperia, Michigan; brothers, Donald (LaVeda) Hunt of Hesperia, Michigan, and Larry (Norma) Hunt of Cape Coral, Florida; sisters-in-law, Betty Hunt of Bitley, Michigan and Darlene Grover of Manton, Michigan; numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm and on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 4:00 to 4:30 pm at Legacy Chapel in Edinburg, Texas with a Celebration of Life service following Saturday’s visitation.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
