EDINBURG - Diego Munguia, 90, entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 2, 2025. Mr. Munguia is preceded in death by his wife, Inez Maria de Socorro Contreras Munguia; his parents, Jose Munguia and Carmen Fonseca Munguia; paternal grandparents, Julia Munguia and Feliciana Sanchez; maternal grandarents, Mr. & Mrs. Fonseca; 2 children, Orlando Munguia and Diego Munguia Jr.

Mr. Munguia is survived by his 2 children, Eva munguia and Rolando Munguia; 9 grandchildren, Crystal M. Garcia, Pamela E. Cantu, Vivian L. Cantu, Kasandra Y. Cantu, Natalie I. Munguia, Trevor N. Munguia, Sofia J., Stephen J. Munguia and Savannah J.; 5 great grandchildren; numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, January 6, 2025 at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow to La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
