DAVID DANIEL "ROCKY" MUNOZ MISSION- David Daniel "Rocky" Muñoz, 59, died Saturday, June 6, 2015, in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Born in Laredo, Texas he had lived in Hebbronville, Texas and was previously from San Isidro where he was employed as an Educator with the San Isidro I.S.D. Mr. Muñoz is preceded in death by his parents, Arcadio "Tito" & Aminta Muñoz; a sister Nelda F. Muñoz. David is survived by his wife Maria M. Muñoz; two brothers, Hugo (Rosario) Muõz and Mario Muñoz; a nephew Rene Muñoz; two nieces, Becky Muñoz and Daniella Garcia. Visitation will be from 5pm to 9pm with a 7pm rosary, today, June 9, 2015, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30am Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission with military honors performed by American Legion Post 93 of Mission. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
