Mr. Cresenciano "Cris" Ramirez entered eternal rest on Saturday July 15, 2017 in McAllen at the age of 73 yrs.
He was born on April 19, 1943 in McAllen, Texas to Jose Ramirez and Antonia Sanchez. Mr. Ramirez was a long time resident of Alamo, a member of the Resurrection Catholic Church of Alamo, a police office for the City of Pharr for many years.
Cresenciano and his wife Anestacia "Annie" were instrumental in the building of the Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. He served with his wife as board member of the church, Eucharistic minister, was a mentor to numerous of youths through the youth ministry. Cresenciano was a devout Catholic, a man of God who instilled many words of wisdom and love to many youths and adults. He enjoyed life to its fullest.
Cresenciano will be dearly missed by his loving family and those lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Anestacia "Annie" Ramirez, and his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Cynthia Ann Ramirez of McAllen, Ronaldo Darren Ramirez of Austin, Chris Duane Ramirez of Alamo, Krisanne Elise Ramirez of Alamo, grandson Matthew Joseph Gomez of Waco, granddaughter Hayden Emelie Avila of Alamo, Grandson Christopher M. Martinez of Alamo, Granddaughter Victoria Alexis Gomez of McAllen, siblings- Lucia, Maria, Encarnacion and Margarito Ramirez.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday July 18, 2017 at Legacy Chapels,4610 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recital of the Holy Rosary starting at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday July 19, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at which time the funeral procession will depart to the Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo for a 2:00 PM Mass of Christian burial rites. Interment will follow to Rose lawn Memorial Cemetery in McAllen.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
