CONSUELO S. TAMEZ MCALLEN - Consuelo S. Tamez, 70, went to be with our Lord Saturday, July 11, 2020, in Edinburg. Mrs. Tamez was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Rosa Solis. Mrs. Tamez is survived by her husband, Felix Tamez Jr.; three children, Orlando (Narcett) Tamez, Renso (Jessica) Tamez, and Gerardo (Selene) Tamez; nine grandchildren, Eduardo, Wally, Nicole, Daniela, Katherine, Renso, Sophia, Jacob, and Gerardo; seven siblings, Aurelia Longoria, Mirtha Salinas, Jose Luis Solis, Mario Humberto Solis, Rosa Elia Briones, Aracely Lopez, and Lupita Rodriguez; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen with interment to follow. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
