Castula Gaona

EDINBURG - Castula Gaona, 94, went to be with our Lord on Friday, July 5, 2024. Mrs. Gaona was preceded in death by her husband, Eliseo Gaona; five children, Felipe Gaona, Sergio Gaona, Rebeca Gaona, Maria Gaona, and Araeli Gaona;; her parents, Gabino and Maria Gaona; nine siblings, German, Natividad, Talde, Alfredo, Ernesto, Elvira, Maria Transito, Saturnina, and Irene.

Mrs. Gaona is survived by her nine children, Bertha Rosas, Rosa Castillo, Aurora Halford, Cain Gaona, Efren Gaona, Jose Trinidad Gaona, Moises Gaona, Saul Gaona, and Isidro Gaona; eleven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Wednesday July 10, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday July 11, 2024, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. 

Funeral service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
