Carlos "Chamaco" Romero

PHARR - Carlos Romero, 80, went to be with his Lord on Monday, March 13, 2023, in Pharr surrounded by his family. Mr. Romero was preceded in death by his parents, Benito and Aurora Romero; three siblings, Benjamin, Aurora, and Angelina Romero.

Mr. Romero is survived by his wife, Irma Romero; six children, Wendy (Gustavo) Lopez, Carlos A. Romero, Carlos Romero Jr., Isela (Ricardo) Calderon, Gina (Jose) Castro, and Luis A. (Olga) Garza; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 12 noon, Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
