Alamo - Bertha Torres Solis, 92, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Mrs. Torres is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Luisa Torres.
Mrs. Torres is survived by her 3 children, Estela Rendon, Maria Rendon and Hortencia Rendon; 8 grand-children, Homero Colunga, Eva Canas, Herberth Arturo Canas, Luis Yzaguirre Jr., Ejinardo Yzaguirre, Vanessa Vejarano, Alexander Morgado, and Christian Morgado; 12 great grand-children, Briana Yzaguirre, Luis A. Yzaguirre, Clourie Colunga, Juan Ramon Vejarano Jr., Leilani Vejarano, Vianey Yzaguirre, Nayeli Canas, Anjelina Canas, Alyssandra Olivares, Evan Villarreal, and Lucas Beto Sains; numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg, Texas. Chapel service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 18, 2023 at Legacy Chapels. Interment will be followed at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
