San Antonio - Bertha Alicia McVaney, 68, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

Mrs. McVaney is survived by her 5 children, Eric James Drury, Jamie Lynne Drury, Franklin James Drury, Amber and Heather McVaney; numerous grand-children, great grand-children, family and friends.

Mrs. McVaney was employed with Safeway Supply for many years as an office manager. She was an extremely hard worker and she went above and beyond for everyone in her life. She was very witty and her laughter could light up a room.

In loving memory of Bertha Alicia McVaney, who lived a life filled with kindness and compassion. As per her final wish, she chose to be cremated, returning to the embrace of the universe she cherished. May her spirit forever shine brightly in our hearts, a reminder of the love and warmth she shared with us all. Rest in peace, you will be deeply missed but never forgotten - we will meet you in our dreams mama lama.

As per the family her life will be celebrated with a small private service.
