BENITO REYES EDINBURG - Benito Reyes, 78, entered eternal rest Tuesday, May 11, 2021, in Edinburg. Mr. Reyes was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Maria Reyes. Mr. Reyes is survived by his wife, Manuela Ramos; seven children, Antonio (Juanita) Reyes, Benito (Sonia) Reyes Jr., Richard (Mary) Reyes, Juanita (Benjamin) Cruz, Carmelo (Rosalinda) Reyes, Sofia (Shaun) Reynolds, and Jose Angel Reyes; 23 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
