BENITO HERNANDEZ MUNOZ EDINBURG — Benito Hernandez Muñoz, 93, passed away Saturday September 26, 2015, at Lifecare Hospital in McAllen. He is survived by his wife, Maria Del Refugio Hernandez; a daughter, Maria Guadalupe (Arnoldo) Amador; a son, Wenseslao (Bertha) Hernandez; four grandchildren, Aleida Amador, Arnoldo Amador, Jr., Aylin Amador and Alexis Hernandez; and his best friend, Benjamin Nuñez, who cared for him until the end. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 noon Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
