ARTURO PALOMO HOUSTON/PHARR - Arturo Palomo, 52, of Pharr Texas, died February 6, 2021 in Houston, Texas. Mr.Palomo was born December 10, 1968, in Edinburg, Texas to Maria Elena Briones. He attended Pharr-San Juan-Alamo High School in Pharr, Texas. Arturo was a former employee of Turner Industries as a Pipefitter helper. He continued his education and earned a certification for Rigging and Crane Operator. He enjoyed football, baseball and basketball games. Arturo enjoyed game night with family and friends, attending Astros games was his favorite pastime. His interests included Fishing, hunting, gardening and being a grill master. Arturo’s life was short lived to so many. His cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed. Arturo was preceded in death by his father, Armando Palomo, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Pedro and Guadalupe Briones; his great-grandmother, Alberta Macias. Mr. Palomo is survived by his wife, Dolores Rosas of 18yrs; two daughters, Adriana Palomo and Daniela Rivera; his mother, Maria Elena Briones Salinas (Ruben); four sisters: Virgina Palomo-Lara (Otto), Hermelinda Rosales (Rey Perez), Evangelina Salinas, and Jessica Arellano (Sergio); four brothers, Juan Enrique Rosales (Maria), Ruben Salinas Jr. (Bethy), Armando Palomo Jr.(Anette), and Benny Palomo; numerous close uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters in law whom he adored. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday, February 14, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2021, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
