Arthur Renteria Jr.

MCALLEN - Arthur Renteria Jr., 50, entered eternal rest on Sunday August 18, 2024, in McAllen. Mr. Renteria was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Renteria; his paternal grandparents, Mercedes and Aurora Renteria; maternal grandparents, Amando and Tomasita Garza.

Mr. Renteria, was a proud Veteran having served his country in the US Army. Arthur was a retired Special Agent Investigator with the United States Department of Defense in Virginia Beach, Virginia. 

Arturo is survived by his mother, Rebeca (David) Sepulveda; five siblings, Sandra (Xavier) Canales, David (Alicia) Sepulveda, Clara (Daniel) Cantu, Robert (Mary) Sepulveda, and Christina (Gary) Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be begin at 9 a.m. with a 11 a.m. Chapel service on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission with full military honors. 

Funeral service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
