WESLACO - Ania Rodriguez, 83, entered eternal rest on Monday, September 23, 2024. Mrs. Rodriguez is preceded in death by her father, Juan Cruz Salas; brother Santos Cruz ;1 grandson, Jesse Diaz.

Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her mother, Concepcion Carrizal Estrada; husband, Atanacio Rodriguez; 7 children, Celia R. Jacques, Maria San Miguel, Janie Saenz, Margarita Diaz, Leticia Mendez, Joel Rodriguez and Francisco Rodriguez; 19 grandchildren, Yerania Diaz, Joseph Diaz, Jose R. San Miguel J.R., Mark A. San Miguel, Katherine M. San Miguel, Ashley M. Jacques, Jacqueline M. Rodriguez, Briana M. Jacques, Stephen Saenz, Ricardo Mendez Jr., Alvaro Mendez, Griselda Mendez, Aaron Rodriguez, Esmeralda Rodriguez, Joel Rodriguez Jr., Gracie Rodriguez, Frances Rodriguez, Karina Rodriguez and Raven Rodriguez; 4 great-grandchildren, Sofia San Miguel, Naldo San Miguel, Eliseo San Miguel and Ezra Joaquin Rodriguez; eight siblings, Rufino Cruz, Vidal Cruz, Catalina Cruz, Sabina Cruz, Juan Cruz, Simona Cruz, Martina Cruz, and Manuela Cruz; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with 7 p.m. rosary, Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday September 27, 2024, at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
