ANABELL S. FERNANDEZ
MCALLEN- Anabelle S. Fernandez, 51, entered into eternal rest June 24, 2022 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Fernandez is preceded in death by her parents; Urbano and Adelfa Samillano Sr.; four siblings, Samuel Samillano, Urbano Samillano Jr, Jean Samillano, and Roque Samillano.
Mrs. Fernandez is survived by her husband, Jesus Rodriguez; three children, Jhoanne Pauline (Patrick) Ponce, Vladimir and Chayan; grandson, Joaquin Ponce; her brother, Nelson Samillano; her sister, Nanette Samillano; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides working as a nurse at the Doctor's Hospital at Reinaissance, Anabelle co-owned and operated with her husband Urban's Legacy Oriental Store. She had a passion for cooking as she learned the delicious recipes from her father Urbano. Anabelle was the best singer in her family and she would crack up a song at anytime. Some of her favorite pass times were dancing with her husband and hanging out with her superhero sister Nanette who would bring her peace and joy. Anabelle's favorite daily activity was talking to her daughter Pauline and grandson Keno from the Philippines, and Anabelle would always find time to spoil her dog Chase. Anabelle had a bright and energetic personality that she inherited from her mom Adelfa. Anabelle was known for her ability to sense when people needed her help. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life.
Her love and generosity was beyond comparison. She will greatly be missed.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels Funeral Home.
