Amanda Silva Alejandro

McAllen- Amanda Silva de Alejandro, 82, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 in Edinburg surrounded by her family. She was born on July 23, 1939 in Santa Monica, Nuevo Leon, MX to Canuto Silva and Tomasa Guajardo. Mrs. Alejandro was preceded in death by her husband, Guillermo Ramon Alejandro Leal; a son, Guillermo Alejandro Silva; two sons-in-law, Cristobal Lozano and Horacio Oranday; siblings, Maria C. Silva, Servando Silva, and Jose H. Silva. Amanda leaves behind her caring children, Amanda Alejandro Silva, Myrthala Alejandro Silva, Gilberto Alejandro Silva (Claudia Garza), and Gustavo Alejandro Silva (Maria del Rosario); numerous grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Manuela Silva, Hortencia Silva de Cantu, Socorro Silva de Salinas, and Gloria Silva de Garza; numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends between the hours of 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. prayer service, Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
