ALFRED W. "FREDDY" ROGERS JR.

DONNA - Alfred W. "Freddy" Rogers Jr., 55, went to his eternal home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, December 25, 2022, in Harlingen. Freddy fought the good fight, he finished the race, he kept the faith (II Timothy 4:7). Freddy was preceded in death by his father, Alfred W. Rogers Sr.

Freddy was a beloved husband, admirable, ethical, resilient and generous loving father, son, brother and friend. A passionate sports enthusiast who was his children's #1 fan and enjoyed spending quality time with his family.

Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife, Michelle Rogers; his children, Alfred W. Rogers III, Ashley Caroline Rogers, and Allison Katelyn Rogers; his mother, Bertha Rogers; siblings, Sandra Yvette Jimenez, Norma Diana (Richard) Vela, Bertha Yvonne (Rolando) Garcia, Dee Dee (Darlene) Rogers, M.D., and Patricia Ann (Daniel Farias) Rogers;  numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. with a 3 p.m. Celebration of Life Service, Friday, December 30, 2022, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Inurnment of his cremated remains will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
