Alejandro Castellanos Mejia

McAllen - Alejandro Castellanos Mejia, 71, entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 24, 2023. Mr. Castellanos is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Maria Castellanos.

Mr. Castellanos is survived by his wife, Nieves Castellanos; 3 children, Alejandro (Jessica) Castellanos Jr., Jessica (Ricardo Jr.) Garza, and Michael (Alejandra) Castellanos; 9 grand-children, Joseph Castellanos, Eloy Garcia Jr., Alexandra Castellanos, Alejandro Castellanos lll, Isaac Garza, Isaiah Garza, Michael Castellanos Jr., Ivan Cuellar, and Aliyana Alexia Castellanos; 1 great grand-daughter, Alessia Jo Pena; numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel will open at 10 am on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 followed by a  funeral mass at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
