Acelia Knauf

ACELIA VIRGINIA KNAUF EDINBURG - Acelia Virginia Knauf, 87, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, November 26, 2016, in Edinburg. Mrs. Knauf was preceded in death by her husband, Louis V. Knauf; her parents, Leonardo and Virginia Carrales; a sister, Angelica Cavazos. Acelia received her degree in Bachelor of Science in Education at Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma in 1971. She taught Elementary in Oklahoma City before teaching in the Edinburg C.I.S.D. where she retied teaching. Mrs. Knauf was a dedicated Educator, she especially enjoyed teaching Secondary (Middle) School. Mrs. Knauf is survived by her children, Paul Knauf, Ric Charles (Margaret) Knauf and Mark Knauf; two grandchildren; a sister, Ada Leal; two brothers, Frank and Henry Carrales; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
