Sonia Rosales

Sonia Elizabeth Rosales Edinburg - Sonia Elizabeth Rosales, 56, went to be with our Lord, Monday, April 11, 2016, in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Born in San Fernando, California, to Jesus Zuniga and Norma Hernandez on November 16, 1959 she had lived in Edinburg most of her life. Mrs. Rosales is preceded in death by her husband, Higinio Rosales; her father and brother, Eddie Zuniga. She was member of Iglesia Bautista Berea in Edinburg. Sonia enjoyed singing and attending church services. Mrs. Rosales is survived by her daughter, Grace (Matthew) Martinez; her mother, Norma Hernandez; three sisters, Annabelle Zuniga, Grace Fuentes and Alma Zuniga; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5pm to 9pm with a 7pm prayer service, Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 11am Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
