REYNALDO MARTINEZ SAN JUAN- Reynaldo Martinez, 54, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Reynaldo and Victoria Cano; maternal aunt and uncle; Diana ( Roberto) Bourbois. Mr. Martinez is survived by his mother, Sara Cano; sister, Yvette (Jose Angel) Torres; three nephews, Joseph (Lisa) Torres, Jose Angel Torres Jr. "AJ" and Joe Andrew Torres; niece, Janette (Vincent) Rodriguez; four great-nephews, Joseph Torres II, James Torres, Hunter Rodriguez and Jacoby Torres; two great-nieces, Haizley Rodriguez and Hailyn Rodriguez; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Rey was the BEST Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend anyone could wish for. Rey loved dancing and was a very talented Choreographer for the past 30 years. He touched so many people's lives, he dedicated his life to teaching dance through numerous quinceñeras, weddings, beauty pageants and also taught modeling. But who he loved more than anything or anyone was his mother, who he devoted all his life to caring for. He was strong in his faith and loved his family with all his heart. He will be Greatly Missed but never forgotten. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Monday, May 30, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Mission. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
