Martha Vela

Martha Alicia Vela Edinburg- Martha Alicia Vela, 55, died Monday May 25, 2015, in McAllen surrounded by her family. Ms. Vela was born in Mexico and had lived in Edinburg most of her life. She is preceded in death by her mother, Dalila Lozano Vela. Ms. Vela is survived by her father, Oscar Vela; seven siblings, Dora Elia (Cesar) Flores, Guillermina (Mario) Reyes, Gumaro (Oneida) Vela, Javier (Martha) Vela, Oscar (Maria) Vela Jr., Alejandro (Mari Lou) Vela and Guadalupe (Maria Luisa) Vela; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. Visitation will be from 3pm to 9pm with at 7pm prayer service Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2pm Thursday May 28, 2015, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
