MARIA DEL SOCORRO QUINTANILLA EDINBURG - Maria Del Socorro Quintanilla, 77, entered eternal rest Monday, August 30, 2021, in Edinburg surrounds by her family. Mrs. Quintanilla was preceded in death by her son, Aliber Quintanilla; her parents, Faustino and Andrea Gonzalez; nine sisters, Aurelia Sanchez, Estefana Ramirez, Mercedes Cantu, Maria De Los Santos Espinoza, Celia Gonzalez, Elvira Gonzalez, Cristina Hurley, and Elisa Gonzalez. Mrs. Quintanilla is survived by her husband, Irineo Quintanilla Adame; three children, Armin (Nydia) Quintanilla, Armida (Fernando) Solis, and Aleida (Juan) Salas; 8 grandchildren, Fernando, Crystal, Alex Jay, Melany, Lissette, Kimberly, Nydia, and Armin Jr.; 2 great-grandchildren, Emiliano, and Adam; three sisters, Maria De La Luz Gonzalez, Dora (Domingo) Rincon, and Andrea (Ramiro) Bermudez; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, September 3, 2021, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
