MARIA V. LOPEZ MISSION - Maria V. Lopez, 88, entered eternal rest Sunday, January 31, 2021, in Mission Surrounded by her family. Mrs. Lopez was preceded in death by her husband, Efrain Lopez; her parents, Francisco and Virginia Valdez; five siblings, Guadalupe Valdez, Oscar Valdez, Francisco Valdez, Manuel Valdez, and Teresa Roel. Mrs. Lopez is survived by her four children, Mario De La Garza, Mari Silma De La Garza, Efrain Lopez Jr., and Norma L. (James) Cobb; 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; five siblings, Gloria Esquivel, Jesus Valdez, Arnulfo Valdez, Juanita Zepeda, and Jose Luis Valdez; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service and interment will be private. Funeral service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
