MANUELA N. VERONICO ALAMO - Manuela N. Veronico, 84, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at her residence in Alamo surrounded by her family. Born in Cueramaro, Gto., Mexico she had lived in Alamo for the past 20 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Macario Veronico and a daughter, San Juanita Perez. Mrs. Veronico is survived by twelve children, Ediberto Juarez, Josefina Juarez, Arcelia Juarez, Blanca Ramirez, Martha A. Barrera, Ana M. Veronico, Alma D. Ortiz, Juan J. Veronico, Leticia Veronico, Magdalena Veronico, Daniel Veronico and Margarita Veronico; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Beatrice Navarro; two brothers, Juan and Alejandro Navarro. Visitation will be from 5pm to 11pm with a 7pm rosary, Thursday, August 27, 2015, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 3:30pm Friday, August 28, 2015, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
