JULIO JOEL "JJ" MORALES

ELSA - Julio Joel "JJ" Morales, 23, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, May 8, 2018, in Weslaco, surrounded by his loving parents. Born in Weslaco, JJ had lived in Elsa all of his life. JJ is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Julio Serna; his paternal grandparents, Fermin and Elva G. Morales; his aunt, Diana Garza; a cousin, Veronica Leandro.

JJ loved movies, eating out at local restaurants, outings with family and friends. He inspired many with his health conditions to always keep going, never give up and never lose the Faith. JJ was a warrior, fighter, and a lighthouse to many. He was an Angel to many and still is after his death. JJ will be dearly missed and always loved by many who knew him and may his Legacy always continue.

JJ is survived by his parents, Fermin and Ruby Morales; two brothers, George Morales and Mickey Townsend; his grandmother, Maria Serna; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, many friends and his faithful service dog, "Baba".

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2018, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
