Juan Guerra

San Juan- Juan Guerra, born on June 12th 1920 to Pablo and Alvina Guerra, passed away on Monday, August 19th 2013 at his residence in San Juan. He is preceded in death by wife Maria Catalina Guerra, his parents, five brothers and one sister. He is survived by his children; Benita (Francisco) Ruiz, Rafaela Gutierrez, Herminio (Maria De La Paz) Guerra, Vicente (Zulema) Guerra, Yolanda Guerra, Consuelo (Dionisio Ramirez) Guerra, Benito Guerra, Rogelio (Maximina) Guerra, Alma Hernandez and Martin Guerra. He also leaves behind 34 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Family will receive friends between the hours of three o'clock and nine o'clock in the evening on Wednesday, August 21st 2013 at Legacy Chapels, 4610 S. Jackson Rd., in Edinburg. A Rosary will take place at seven o'clock in the evening and will be available online at www.legacychapelsrgv.com Funeral Services will be held at eleven o'clock in the morning on Thursday, August 22nd 2013 at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery in San Juan. Funeral Services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
