Jose Moncivais

JOSE MONCIVAIS SAN JUAN- Jose Moncivais, 81, died Saturday, April 11, 2015, in McAllen. Born in Alamo and formerly of Houston, Texas Mr. Moncivais had lived in San Juan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Zacarias and Leocadia Moncivais; four brothers, Narcisco, Jesus, Sixto and Tomas Moncivais; four sisters, Eva Garcia, Maria Vasquez, Curz Romero and Agustina Contreras. Jose is survived by a daughter, Irma (Javier) Guzman; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Benita M. Del Boque; numerous nieces and nephews. Christina Cavazos would like to thank Dr. Luis Arango and Staff at Rio Grande Regional Hospital for all the care and attention to detail provided to us during this difficult time. Visitation will be from 1pm to 9 pm with a 7 pm prayer service Monday, April 13, 2015, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas. Funeral service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
