FRANCICO "PANCHITO" HERNANDEZ MCALLEN - Francisco "Panchito" Hernandez, 85, went to be with our Lord, Friday, May 27, 2016. Born in Mercedes Francisco had lived in McAllen most of his life. Mr. Hernandez is preceded in death by his wife, Hortencia Hernandez; his parents, Guadalupe and Trinidad Hernandez; three brothers, Pepe, Zacarias and Guadalupe Hernandez Jr.; a sister, Elva Hernandez. Mr. Hernandez is survived by his two children, Carlos (Angelica) Hernandez and Jorge Luis Hernandez; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers, Alvaro, Juventino and Alejandro Hernandez; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Wednesday June 1, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
