Filiberta Cervantes

FILIBERTA CERVANTES ALAMO- Filiberta Cervantes, 81, entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 24, 2022 in Alamo surrounded by her family. Ms. Cervantes was preceded in death by her parents, Aurelio and Mincertat Garza; six siblings, Santos, Juan, Antonio, Consuelo, Catalina and Hermalinda. Ms. Cervantes is survived by three children, Jose Guadalupe Garza, Miguel (Crysetla) Salas and Cesar (Maggie) Cervantes; 14 grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Monday, March 28, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
