ESTHER CANTU MISSION - Esther Cantu, 93, entered eternal rest on Monday, February 14, 2022, in Mission surrounded by her family. Mrs. Cantu was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Castro and Ana Maria Castro ; her four brothers, Vicente Castro Mendoza, Raul Castro Mendoza, Gregorio Castro Mendoza, and Jose Castro Mendoza. Mrs. Cantu is survived by her husband, Severo Cantu; her son Severo Cantu Jr.; her granddaughter, Chloe Cantu; two siblings, Josefina Castro Mendoza and Pedro Castro Mendoza; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 4 p.m. chapel service, Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
