Dominga Gonzalez

Alamo, Texas Dominga Z. Gonzalez entered eternal rest Saturday, April 17, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at her daughters home in Alamo, Texas. Dominga was 96 yrs old. Dominga was born August 4, 1924 in Rockdale, Texas to Pablo and Amalia (Nava) Zuniga. She was raised in Mexico, lived in Houston and Hidalgo, Texas and at the time of her passing she lived with her daughter in Alamo, Texas. She loved gardening, cooking, sewing, and family gatherings. Dominga truly lived life to its fullest. She was preceded in death by her parents and all her siblings. She is survived by her four children- Blanca Sylvia Gonzalez, Beatrice Luna, Arnoldo Luna, Nestora Gaitan; 10 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a prayer service to begin at 6:30 PM at Legacy Chapels,4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg. Graveside service will be Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 10:30 AM with interment to follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens cemetery in Donna. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels of Edinburg.
