Consuelo Madrigal

CONSUELO "CHELA" MADRIGAL EDINBURG - Consuelo "Chela" Madrigal, 74, went to be with our Lord, Friday August 12, 2016, in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Born in Atotonilco, El Alto Jalisco, Mexico she had lived in Edinburg for over 20 years. Mrs Madrigal is preceded in death by her husband, Cecilio Madrigal; her parents, Jose Cruz and Guadalupe Camacho Reyes; four brothers, Jose Cruz, Jose Manuel, Jose Salvador and Julio Cesar Reyes; two sisters, Maria Josefina and Maria Del Carmen Reyes. Mrs. Madrigal is survived by four children, Bertha (Gustavo) Gamboa, Maria (Marcos) Cardenas, Gerardo and Omar Madrigal; 8 grandchildren; four sisters, Maria Guadalupe, Maria Teresa, Maria Del Refugio and Maria Eugenia Reyes; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday, August 14, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2016, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
