CHARLES ALBERT GARRISON EDINBURG - Charles Albert Garrison, 84, went to be with the Lord, July 15, 2015, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. Charles joined the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country. He was aboard the USS Chara Aka-58 and earned the Navy Occupational Medal and the Korean Service Medal. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Buster-Garrison; a daughter, Karen (Bob) Cash; a son, Charles (Michelle) Garrison; a step daughter, Roxane (Roy Arteaga) Buster; a step son, Todd Lee Buster; three grandchildren, Bill Cash, Matthew Cash and Meghan Rowe; and a great-granddaughter, Farrah Rowe. A chapel service will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2015, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Entombment of cremated remains will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery, 2520 S. Inspiration Rd. in Mission. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
