Beatriz Torres

EDINBURG, TEXAS Mrs. Beatriz Torres went to be with our Lord on Sunday April 30, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on August 25,1940 in Durango,Mexico to Praxedis and Martha Jimenez. Beatriz had lived in Houston for many years until making Edinburg her home in 1983. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three sons Antonio, Jose Angel, Angel Torres and a daughter Erika Torres. Beatriz Torres is survived by her children Raul Torres, Manuel Torres, Guadalupe Torres, Maria de los Angels Torres, Isabel Torres, Maria del Rosario Torres, Severo Torres, Jose Luis Torres, Pedro Torres, and Ulyses Torres. Two sisters Aurora Jimenez and Maria Del Refugio Jimenez and 11 grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday May 1, 2017 at Legacy Chapels,4610 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday May 2, 2017 at 10:00 am at Legacy Chapels. Cremation will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
