ARELI JAQUELINE VAZQUEZ ALAMO - Areli Jaqueline Vazquez, 15, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, June 1, 2017, in Alamo surrounded by her family. Born in McAllen and had lived in Alamo all her life. She was a student at Donna High School, enjoyed singing and loved Hello Kitty. Ms. Vazquez is survived by her parents, Hector and Sonia Vazquez; a brother, Sergio Vazquez; paternal grandparents, Candelario Vazquez and Maria De Luz Saenz; maternal grandparents, Fidel and Victoria Vidales; two nephews; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2017, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
