Anita Martinez

ANITA G. MARTINEZ SAN JUAN - Anita G. Martinez, 90, left to dance before the Lord, Saturday, October 8, 2016, in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Born in Bastrop, Texas she had lived in San Juan most of her life. Mrs. Martinez is preceded in death by her husband, Agripino "Jose" Villalobos; four sons, John, Alfred, Alfonso and Paul Martinez; two daughters, Alicia Martinez and Carmen Villalobos; her parents, Liborio and Paula Guerrero; two brothers, Juan and Gabriel Guerrero. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her six children, Jesse Martinez, Guadalupe Martinez, Maria Martinez, Virginia Thomas, Diana (Darryl) Summers and Rachel Villalobos; 41 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Mario (Olivia) Guerrero and Lee Guerrero; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a 1:30 p.m. Celebration of Life service Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
