ANITA BAZALDUA MCALLEN - Anita Bazaldua, 84, entered eternal rest, Monday August 3, 2020, in San Juan. Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Pilar Perez; her parents, Eulogio and Balvina Basaldua; her sister, Hortencia Franco; a brother, Francisco Bazaldua. Mrs. Bazaldua is survived by her two daughters, Lucy (Robert Jr.) Perez Valdez, and Sandra Johnk; two granddaughters, Ivanna Johnk and Bella Lucia Gonzalez; five siblings, Oralia Valdez, Ninfa Bazaldua, Elvia Alanis, Rodolfo Bazaldua, and Guadalupe Bazaldua. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
