Alfredo Cantu

Edinburg - Alfredo "Freddy" Cantu , born on December 9, 1962 to Baldemar and Angelina Cantu, passed away on December 29, 2013. Freddy was a 1982 graduate of Edinburg High School. He is survived by his mother Angelina M. Cantu, sons; Alfredo Cantu, Jr., and Isaac Gonzalez; siblings, Baldemar Cantu, Jr., (Mary), Sylvia Cantu (Andy Rios), Timoteo Cantu (Ludy), and Cindy Salinas (Polo) all of Edinburg. He is also survived by one grandson, John Anthony Cantu and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 31st 2013 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Legacy Chapels, 4610 S. Jackson Rd., Edinburg. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00pm. Chapel Service will be at 12:00pm on Wednesday, January 1st 2014 at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral Services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
